Port / Camping

There are plenty of places to visit in the area, which have never run out. Seasonal pitches are also available for winter and all year round. The cottages are available for rent all year round.

Port and fishing

There are two boat docks and boats for hire in the Kopparö area. The area is ideal for fishing, spinning and swimming. You can buy a fishing permit for a week or a year.

Visitor's guide

Caravans and cars can be accommodated on sites marked with yellow signs FREE or FREE OF CHARGE. There are sites in Area One, Area Two, the North Area and the Beach Area. If you have paid for a terrace with a sea view, you can also stay on a site marked with a blue TERRACE.

The barbecue sites have trees for grilling! The service building next to the restaurant has a toilet, shower, washroom, hotplates, fridge, dishwasher and dining area.

The restaurant has rowing boats and fishing permits for hire. The area clubhouse is in the restaurant building. There is an open WLAN network in the restaurant area: kopparo customer

General sauna hours in autumn and winter

Old sauna/Swan from 1.9.2025 valid until further notice:

Every day men and women 17:00 – 20:30.

New sauna / Sauna on request:

Wednesdays and Sundays

Women 17:00 – 18:30, Men 18.30 – 20:00.

The sauna is available for private use outside these hours until 23:00 - price 22 €/h.

Kopparö Custom Sauna 1, also known as the “new sauna”, is located in the same building as holiday apartment Alli and holiday apartment Tiira in the northern area. The sauna can be booked for on-demand use between 14 and 23. Please put a reserved sign on the door when the sauna is available. Outside of the on-demand period, users in the area use the sauna’s shower and toilet facilities. You will receive a door code to enter the sauna with your booking confirmation. Please note that reservations must be made 2 hours before the sauna shift to allow time for the sauna to warm up.

The Kopparö nature trail and fire sites on the islands

  • The nature trail is marked in yellow and is located between Kopparö harbour and the Stora Sandö fire site.
  • The distance along the nature trail from Kopparö harbour to the Stora Sandö fire site is 3.2km.
  • The Stora Sandö fire site is along a nature trail. To reach the other fireplaces you have to walk through the forest or by boat. There are 4 fireplaces in total.
  • The fireplaces have a saw and an axe for making firewood. Around the fireplaces there are plenty of trees and brushwood on the ground that can be used to make a fire.
  • Fires are only allowed in covered barbecue shelters in fireplaces.
  • There are no bins on the nature trail or at the fire sites, so any rubbish that is taken into the wild must be brought back by yourself.
  • Each fireplace has a covered barbecue shelter and 2 outdoor huts
  • There is a suspension bridge between Själsundsnäset and Lanfö, which you are responsible for crossing.
